忠臣蔵（４７士） Chushingura(47 Samurai)

久々に～　散策にいってきたぞ～（＾０＾） で～　今回のテーマは「忠臣蔵（47士）」じゃ。 これは　元禄15年12月14日（1703年１月30日）の深夜に　旧主浅野さんの仇の高家吉良さんの屋敷に　元浅野さんの家臣が　討ち入りした～っちゅ～　ほんまの事件をもとに　歌舞伎や映画になった時の話でごじゃります～。 pengが　アメリカにおったときに　クリスマスになると　いろんなバージョンの「クリスマス・キャロル」っちゅ～話を　ＴＶや劇場で見られたのでごじゃりますが。　それと同じように　この「忠臣蔵」も　年末になると　いろいろなバージョンが見られ　「忠義」っちゅ～もんを　考えさせるものでごじゃります。 まずは　そもそもの発端　江戸城の松の廊下に　行ったのでごじゃります。　現在では　皇居の公園内・松の廊下跡というとこじゃが・・・　 石の目印が　ごじゃりますが　今までの皇居見学では　全然　気ぃ～つかんかったし ほんに　見つけるのに　難儀する小ささで　ごじゃりました～。 ここで　浅野さんが　吉良さんに　切りつけたわけで　ごじゃります。 この城内での事件後　浅野さんは　江戸城の不浄門から出され　他家にて　切腹をさせられましたじゃ。　pengも　浅野さんの気持ちを知るために　同じ門から　江戸城（現在の皇居域）をぬけましたじゃ。　人生の頂点から奈落へと　転げ落ちるような坂道では　ごじゃりましたが　きれいな梅林がありましたじゃ。 さて　そっから　仇討ち後に　やはり切腹した４７士のお墓がある泉岳寺に行きましたじゃ。　電車乗り換え時　構内の通路が　階段の上り下りせなならんよぉ～に　なっとりまして　ちっと苦労しながらも　泉岳寺駅に着きましたじゃ。 なんと！　駅の改札を抜けて　目の前に　４７士の方々のお名前が！　されど　そこは　女子トイレでごじゃりました～　うむむ～～（－。－） 無事　泉岳寺に到着し　大きな大石殿に　お会いしましたじゃ。　この方が討ち入りのリーダーでごじゃります。　 墓所での撮影は　はばかられるかと　線香を買い　お参りのみで　ごじゃりました。　そして　寺社敷地内ある博物館を　見学してまいりましたじゃ。 博物館内では　これまた　撮影禁止で　ごじゃりましたが　一番気になったのは　吉良殿の首の送り状で　ごじゃります。　泉岳寺のお坊さんが　吉良家へ　届けたときの書類で　ごじゃります。　ただ　「一、首・・・」と　書かれておりましたじゃ（－。－） まあ　なにはともあれ　この日は　１１６７２歩を歩き　有意義な見学をしたpengであ～る（＾０＾）

Peng went out for a stroll for the first time in a long time. The theme was “Chushingura (47 Samurai)”. There was a real incident that happened during the Genroku era at midnight on 15/12/14 (1703/01/30）. On that day, the Lord Asano’s ex-vassals went into the house of the Lord Kira and killed him to avenge the death of Lord Asano. There are many versions of this story in Kabuki, movies, and TV shows. When Peng was in the US, she could see many different versions of “A Christmas Carol” at Xmas time. In the same way, in Japan, people can see many different versions of “Chushingura (47 Samurai)” to think about the meaning of “Chugi (Loyalty)”. The beginning of this story happened in the Pine-hallway at Edo-castle. This is now found in a part of the Imperial Palace’s garden. Today there is a little stone marker which tells that it’s where the Matsuu-no-rouka (the Pine-hallway) was. Since the stone is very tiny, it’s very hard to find the place. It’s where the Load Asano tried to kill the Lord Kira with a sword because of hard feelings over Kira’s insults. As a result, the Lord Asano was ordered to leave Edo-castle through the Fujyou mon (unclean gate) and to commit Seppuku (hara-kiri). Peng went to that gate just as Asano did, to understand how he felt that day. After the gate you go downhill, just like the fall in life from the peak to the abyss. However, there are some beautiful plum trees there. After they completed their revenge, the 47 samurai all committed Seppuku (hara-kiri) and their graves are in the Sengakuji. To go Sengakuji Peng had to change trains 3 times and had to walk through a long pedestrian tunnel in the train station. Peng finally arrived at Sengskuji station and saw・・・ Wow! Just past the station gate in front of the gate there was a board with the 47 samurai’s names on it. But, it was the wall of a women’s rest room! Hmmm～～（－。－） Anyway, Peng arrived at Sengakuji and saw the big stone statue of Mr. Ooishi, who was the leader of the avenging group. At the cemetary and the museum Peng could not take pictures but bought inccnse and showed respect for the dead spirits. After the 47 samurai killed Lord Kira, they brought his head to Sengakuji to show it at the grave of Lord Asano. Then they left it with the monks. In the museum of the Sengakuji there was a very interesting paper. It’s a receipt from when the Sengakuji monks returned the Load Kira’s head to the Kira family house. It just says “One Head.”・・・ Anyway at that day Peng walk 11672 steps and had meanigful tour. 江戸東京たてもの公園 Edo-Tokyo Open-air Architectural Museum

ちっと遠出して　江戸東京たてもの園に　行ったじゃ（＾０＾） まずは　新宿にでて　ＪＲ中央線の武蔵小金井駅で降り　バスにて　小金井公園に到着～。　けっこう広い公園で　びっくりしましたじゃ～（＠。＠） ここで　鳥撮りを　するつもりじゃったが　突然　雨が降ってきて　寒ぅ～て　寒ぃ～て　鳥を　待ちきれんかったので　ごじゃります～。 そして　４００円なりの入園料を払い　公園内の「江戸東京たてもの園」に　はいりましたじゃ。　まあ　ここも　野外展示でごじゃりますで　雨にぬれてしまうんやけど・・・　いろいろな建物が　ありまして　その中に逃げ込む（？）ことが　できましたじゃ。 ナマの鳥しゃんの代わりに　そこで撮影した鳥関連の映像（キツツキ・ハト・レゴホン卵）でごじゃります。 昼になって　お腹もすいてきて　はいったんが　蔵の中にある　うどん屋さんでごじゃります。 この映像の向って一番左が　そのうどん屋さんで　汁は　そんなに関東風では　ごじゃりませんで　関西系pengも　満足して　いただきましたじゃ（＾＾） その右隣の　茶色い建物は「文具屋の三省堂」でごじゃります。　次が　ちとモダン（？）な花屋さん　そして　ほんまレトロな金物屋さんで　ごじゃります。 このほかにも　たくさんいろいろな建物があって　１日　十分　遊べますじゃ。　建物説明をしておられたシニアボランティア（？）の方々によりますと　来年が　この　たてもの園の２０周年記念で　大きい催しが　あるそうで　ごじゃります。　まだまだ　いろいろな建物を　再建予定とかで　pengは　来年も　いってみよかと思とりますじゃ。 雨にぬれ　またまた　鼻ずび～～の風邪気味に　なってもぉ～たけど　遠出を楽しんだpengであ～る（＾０＾）

Peng went to a town a little bit far away to see the Edo-Tokyo Open-air Architectural Museum （＾０＾） First, Peng went to Shinjuku station on the Tokyu Toyoko –line & Yamanote-line. And then after using the JR Chuo-line to get to Musashikoganei station, from the station there is a bus to get to Koganei park. The park was pretty big, so Peng was surprised. （＠。＠） Peng was thinking about taking some photos of birds here. But suddenly there was a rain, and it was very cold. So Peng couldn’t stay in the park to wait for the birds. And then Peng got into the Edo-Tokyo Open-air Architectural Museum in the park by buying a ticket for 400yen. Even once she got into the Museum, since this is open air, it was still wet from the rain though….. Anyway , in the museum area there are many different houses, so Peng could escape from the cold rain. Instead of taking pictures of real birds, Peng took some photos of related birds. (woodpecker, pigeon, egg) At noon, Peng got hungry and went to an Udon noodle restaurant which is inside this old-style storehouse. In this photo, from the left is the Udon restaurant storehouse. This Udon restaurant is good. The soup wasn’t Kanto taste, so even Peng from Kansai could eat happily. (^^) To the right of the Udon restaurant is the Sanseidou stationary shop, which is still doing business as a bookstore everywhere in Japan. Next to this is a florist shop, end then a hardware store. These days it’s hard to find these kind of old-style shops. There are many more interesting old houses, so you can enjoy it one day. According to the guides, next year is the 20th anniversary of this museum and there will be a big event. And they were still building other houses. So, Peng wants to visit here again someday. Even though Peng got wet and caught a cold, it was a fun little trip. Peng was very happy. （＾０＾）

河口湖 Kawaguchi Lake

pengは　一泊で河口湖に　行ってきました～（＾０＾） みんな　河口湖を　知っとるかの～？　河口湖は　富士山の近くにある　５つの湖の中で　一番大きい湖なんじゃぞ。 まずは　いつものとおり　東横線で渋谷到着。山手線に乗って新宿へ～～ ごちゃごちゃした路地の奥　シルバーっぽい　四角いビルが　都庁でごじゃります～。 え？　みなさん　もう　ご存知？　ふっみゃ～～　pengは　初めてお目にかかったでしゅよ～。 まあ　とにかく　この都庁の写真をゲットしたところに　高速バスのターミナルが　あるわけでごじゃります～。 これが　pengが乗った高速バスで　ごじゃります。　このまえ渋谷で　初めて路線バスに　乗ったのじゃが　高速バスは　ええの～。　観光バスのようで　旅気分まんさい！　そ・れ・に　ひごろの行いがいいのか　いっとぉ～前の席で　見晴らしも　よかったのじゃ～（＾＾） バスの中で　お昼のお弁当を　いただきながら　るるる～ん　と　景色を眺めていたら・・・なんと！一天にわかにかき曇り　土砂降り！ なんじゃ～　pengの～ひごろの行いの～成果が～（；；）　どうなるんじゃ？　富士山は 見えんのか？　むむむ～～っと　思っている間に　河口湖駅が　近づいてまいりました。 ちなみに　所要時間は　３時間で　料金は１７００円　電車と時間は同じで　ごじゃりますが　料金は半分で乗り換えなしって～のが　よぉ～ごじゃります～。 到着した河口湖駅の　案内所の屋根に　妖精殿が　鎮座して　おられました。　なんでじゃ？と　問ぉ～てみたかったので　ごじゃりますが　ホテルからの　お迎えバスが来てしまい　そそくさと乗り込みモードと　なってしまったので　聞けずじまいが　残念！ さて～　雨上がりに　富士山は　見えたのか？　あい・あ～い　見えました（＾＾） まあ　雲が　かかってはおりまするが　みごとに　富士山＆河口湖が望める　いいお部屋で　ごじゃりました。　雷殿が　時々　ゴロゴロゆぅ～て　おられたので　周りの散歩は　そこそこに　のぉ～んびり　部屋から＆露天風呂から　富士山を見て過ごした　いい時間で　ごじゃりました。 いつものように　お土産に　記念・クリアファイルを　ゲットしまちた～。　逆さ富士も　赤富士も　肉眼では確認できんかったので　これ！ 赤富士・クリアファイルで　見たよぉ～な気分！　みなさま　赤富士は　縁起がいいとのこと　とくと御覧くだしゃりませ～。 ほのぼの　初・河口湖温泉に　入ってきたpengで　あ～る（＾０＾）

Peng went on an overnight trip to Kawaguchi Lake～（＾０＾） Do you guys know Kawaguchi Lake? It’s the biggest of the 5 lakes next to Mt, Fuji ,which is the biggest mountain in Japan. First, as always Peng took the Tokyu Toyoko line to get to Shibuya station. And then Peng took the Yamanote line to get to Shinjyuku station. On the end of this street, you can see a silver square building. It’s the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office. What? You guys already know it? Hmya~ It was the first time Peng had seen it. Anyway, the place Peng took this photo is also the place for the Highway bus terminal. Here’s the highway bus Peng took. In another article Peng introduced the city line bus. Do you remenber? This highway bus was much nicer than the city line busses. Just like sightseeing bus, and Peng really could enjoy the traveling feeling! A-N-D because of Peng’s daily good conduct, Peng could get the the front tier.（＾＾） While Peng was eating lunch in the bus, Peng was gazing at the scenery with rapture. R~r~r~n（＾＾）・・・・WHAT! Suddenly sky got dark and it started to rain! What will happen as the result of Peng’s good conduet? Can Peng see Mt, Fuji? Hmmm…. While Peng worried about it the highway bus arrived at Kawaguchi Lake station. Anyway, the trip took 3 hours and it cost 1700yen. The time is same as taking the train, but the price is half of the train cost. It was nice. On the top of the roof of the information office at Kawaguchi Lake station, there was an elf. “Why you are here?” Peng wanted to ask him, but the pick-up bus from the hotel had just come, so Peng couldn’t ask. Pity! So maybe you want to find out if Peng could see Mt, Fuji after the rain. Don’t you? Yesha~~ Peng could see it（＾＾） Through a little bit of clouds, Peng really could see Mt, Fuji from the hotel room window. It was a nice room. Since the thunder was still barking, Peng couldn’t look around near the lake, but Peng could see Mt, Fuji from the room and from the onsen and could spend a nice time. As always Peng got a clear file as a souvenir. Since Peng couldn’t have a chance to see the red Fuji, Peng got that one! Peng’s feeling is she really wants to see the red Fuji someday! It is said that seeing the red Fuji makes good luck for people, so it is good to see it. It was aheartwarming little onsen trip. Happy!（＾０＾）

３箇所早歩き 3 Places Trot

お題の通り　６月３０日のpengの活動は　３箇所をめぐった早技じゃ（＾＾） 目的地は　横浜中央図書館・横浜成田山・伊勢山皇大神宮じゃった。 まずは　いつもの通り　peng御用達の東急東横線で横浜駅へ　そこから京急線で２駅目の　日の出町駅に到着。 ほんとは　東急の電車で　そのまま　みなとみらい駅到着でも　行けるのじゃが・・・　 初めて行くところって　ゆうても　かって知ったるご近所散策なもんで　行きも・帰りも同じ道では　ちょいと　面白ないって　思たんじゃ。　本来は　東急線を　乗り継いで行けるとこが　pnegの縄張りなんじゃが、　行きは　他電に乗り換えたわけやな～。（－。－） まあ　とにかく　日の出町駅から　徒歩１０分ほどで　この横浜中央図書館に　着いたわけじゃ。　いつもは　大学の図書館を　使うんじゃが　まあ　ちょっと　市営図書館を　見学に　行ってみたのじゃ。pengの趣味は勉強じゃでな～　図書館はたのしいし　大好きじゃ～（＾０＾） そやけど　館内は　節電の影響で　ちょい　ぬくもっとったな～。　それに　なんやしらんが　チョー年上の兄さんらが　いっぱい　おったの～（－。－） 次は　図書館を出て　やっぱり１０分ぐらい歩いて　この横浜成田山に　到着じゃ。　千葉の成田山に比べると　そぉ～とぉ～　ちっちゃいし　写真でわかるとぉ～り　ランドマーク・タワーが　すぐそこにあるんじゃ。 この写真でも　わかると思うけど　参道は　あっけなく　民家に隣接しておるんじゃ。　 露店も出とらんかったんで　さくさく進んで　上り坂＆上り階段を　ほいほ～いと　また１０分ほど行って　最後の目的地　伊勢山皇大神宮に　到着じゃ。 この　神宮の案内図をみてもわかるよぉ～に　車道に囲まれた　ちっちゃい山に　なってしもとるんじゃ～。　鳥居をくぐって　本殿前にくると　茅の輪があった。　 おや？って　思て　キョロキョロ・・・お！　そうじゃ　今日は　夏越しの大祓神事の日じゃ。　なになに～　特別の祓いには　料金が必要とな～。　 むむむ～　pengは　そんな罪穢れは　ないはずじゃで　まあ　自力で茅の輪くぐりしとくだけで　ええわ～って　ことで　参拝も終了し　おまもりショップに　向かった。　ど～れ～に～しよっかな～って　物色しとったら　一天にわかにかき曇り　雷雨じゃ！　神事が始まるまで　あと３０分！　おいお～い　どんだけの罪穢れ　もっとるやつが　来たんじゃ～（＞。＜）　あかん～　帰ろ。 って～ことで　一路　みなとみらい駅へ　ダッシューー）＝＝＝）） 時間にして約３時間　歩数にして約６０００歩の　散策であった。　まあ　最後は　雨にヌレヌレになるかと　心配したが　pengが家に着くまでは　そんなに強い雨やなかったし　そこそこ　楽しんできたぞ～い（＾０＾）

As you can see from this title, June 30th’s peng’s action was a looking in 3 places while walking with a quick step（＾＾） The destinations were Yokohama Cyuou Tosyokan (Yokohama City Central Library), Yokohama Naritasan (Yokohama Naritasan Temple) & Iseyama Koutaijinnguu (Iseyama Grand Shrine). At first, as always Peng took the Tokyu Toyoko line to get Yokohama Station, then took Keikyu line to Hinodecho Station, which is 2 stations away from Yokohama Station. Essentially, Peng can go to the destination places by just using Tokyu line to get Minatomirai Station, though… But, Peng thought that even though it’s the first time to go to these 3 places, the area is not so far from Peng’s apartment, so it’s not so enjoyable to use the same way to both go & return. That is why Peng transferred to other line. Anyway, Peng walked 10 minutes from Hinodecho Station, and arrived at the Yokohama City Central Library. Usually Peng uses the University library, but just for a change Peng visited the city library. Since Peng’s hobby is the studying, libraries are enjoyable places and Peng likes them. （＾０＾） But Peng was surprised that, since everyone is conserving power after the big earthquake, the library rooms were a bit warmer, and there were many old guys in there. Next, after Peng left the library, she took 10 minutes walk again to get the Yokohama Naritasan Temple. As you can see in the photo, this Naritasan is much smaller than the main Naritasan Temple in Chiba Prefecture. And you although can see the Landmark Tower next to it. You can see in this photo that the approach to the temple is easily connected to residential area. There weren’t any street stalls in the temple area. So, Peng just passed the temple quickly to go up the hill & stairs another 10 minutes to get the last destination, the Iseyama Grand Shrine, which is also sort of miniature of the Ise Shrine in Mie Prefecture. As you can see in the information map of the shrine, it’s on the top of a little hill which is surrounded by a roadway. After Peng passed under the torii, she found a “Chi no wa” which is use for purification. Hmm? Peng looked carefully and realized that Jun 30th is a day of “passing summer purification ceremony at shrine. The sign said “If you want special purification , you need to pay money”. Hmmm… Peng thought that she doesn’t need “the special” since she doesn’t have much sin. So, Peng passed under the ”Chi no wa” by herself and paid homage at the shrine. Then Peng went to the charm shop. While Peng was looking to choose one charm, suddenly the sky got dark and there was a thunderstorm! There was still 30 minutes before the shrine ceremony would begin! Doom~ who is with bad sin（＞。＜）　No good!! So Peng quickly ran to Minatomirai Station. Dashーー）＝＝＝）） This little tour took about 3 hours and used about 6000 steps. At the end there was a thunderstorm, and Peng was worried she might get wet. But, the rain wasn’t so bad until Peng arrived home. So it was enjoyable, Happy! （＾０＾）

初バス体験 My First Bus Experience

初体験じゃ～～。　Pengは　初めて　東京でバスに乗った！ 「岡本太郎・記念館」に行ったのじゃ。　ネットで調べたところ　交通案内に　「地下鉄・表参道駅より徒歩８分」　「都営バス・南青山六丁目下車徒歩２分」という　２つの選択肢があった。　 も～ち～ろ～ん　徒歩が短い方を　選んだわけなんじゃが、　けっして　歩くのがやだった！ってわけではないぞ。　まあ　それも　多少あるが（キャハ）　徒歩が長いと　迷子になるからじゃ。　それに　初バス体験も　してみたかったのじゃ。 いつもの通り　peng御用達の東急東横線で　渋谷駅到着。　でもって　バスターミナルを探した。　探したといっても　東急の駅員さんに　聞いただけじゃが・・ まあ　とにかく　バスが来るとこは　わかったのじゃ。　でもって　バス停探し！　記念館の案内に　バスは「渋８８」と書いてあったから　pengは　８８番のバス停を　探したのじゃ。　 しか～し　そんなもんは　なかった（；；） とりあえずの　記念撮影（？）で　バスターミナル撮影をしたのが　この写真じゃ。　っとそこへ　「渋８８」と電光版に　赤々と（っても　実際は　オレンジ色じゃが）電気をともしたバスが　やってきた。　「おっと　またんかい！」って　バスの前に立ちはだかったpeng 「バス停は　どこじゃ？」と運転席窓に　とりすがった～。 しか～し　運転手さんは　田舎者に　冷たかった（；；）　指差しただけで　行ってしまうのじゃ。　まあ　道の真中＆運転中って～ことも　あったが・・（キャハハ） とにかく　運転手さんが指差した方に　目を向けつつ　バスを追って　ダーッシューー）＝＝＝））　バスが止まったんで　再度「どこじゃ？」と聞いた。　やっとこ「５９番」とわかり　乗車完了じゃ～。　ふぃ～い（－。－） ふと見ると　シルバーシートが　かわいい（＾＾）　pengが　知ってるシルバーシートは　やけに地味で　年齢をかもしだすものが　多かった。　おもわずの写真撮影が　これじゃ。 無事　南青山六丁目で　降りる事ができた。　もちろん　降りるとき　バスの運転手さんに　道を聞いたが～　まよった！　ど～ぅも　通り過ぎたらしいと思い　自販機でコーヒーを買ってた　タクシーの運転手さんに　道を聞いたのじゃ。　そして　ついに　目的地の「岡本太郎・記念館」に　着くことができたのじゃ～（＾０＾） バス＆徒歩２分　なかなかに　あなどれんコースであったな～（－。－）　今日は　３人に聞いたが　タクシーのおじちゃんが　一番親切だったの～。　ちなみにじゃが　おじちゃんには　東北弁のにおいがしたのじゃ～。　また　募金にはげまねば！とも　思ったpengで　あ～る（＾０＾）

The new experience～～。　Peng took the bus in Tokyo for the first time！ Peng went to the Okamoto Taro memorial house. For going to the house, Peng checked the home page, and found 2 routes to get there. One is to use subway and get off at Omotesandou station, and then a 7 minute walk. Another one is using city bus and getting off at Minamiaoyaka bus stop, with a 2 minute walk.　 Of co~~~urse Peng chose the one with the shortest walk, but it didn’t mean Peng hates walking! Peng might have thought about this a bit (kyaha)　But why Peng chose it was woeey about getting lost from a long walk, and having the experience of the first bus ride in Tokyo.　 As always, Peng took the Tokyu Toyoko line to get Shibuya station. Then, she looked for a bus terminal. Even though Peng wrote “look for”, really Peng just asked the way from a Tokyu station attendant. Anyway Peng found out where the bus terminal was, and then look for a bus stop. Since the route information said the bus is “Shibu88”, Peng was looking for the No.88 bus stop. Bu~t, there was no bus stop had No.88 (cry) For the time being, Peng took this picture of the bus terminal for remembrance photo. Suddenly a bus was coming which had an orange electric bulletin “Shibu88”. Peng stood in front of the bus! And, she held on to the driver’s window saying “where is the bus stop?”. Bu~t, the bus driver was a little cold to provincial Peng. He just pointed the side and went on. Well, it is understandable -- it was middle of road, and he was driving (kyahaha) Anyway, peng pursued the bus as she had seen the point where the driver had pointed. Dashーー）＝＝＝））　When the bus stoped, Peng asked again “Where is it?” to the driver. Finally Peng found that the bus stop was really “NO.59”. Fu~~~u（－。－） In the bus there is a cute “silver-seat” （＾＾）　“silver seats” peng knew were mostly for much older rider’s mood. So Peng took a photo of the cute silver-seat. Peng safely got off at Minam Aoyama 6 Chome. Of course Peng had asked the bus driver the way to get the Okamoto Taro house. Bu~~t, Peng lost the way! Presumably, she had already passed the house, so Peng asked the way from a cab driver who was buying a coffee at a vending machine. Then finally, Peng arrived at “Okamoto Taro memorial House” （＾０＾） Don’t treat the bus & 2minute walk lightly~（－。－） This time Peng had to ask 3 people the way. The kindest person was the cab driver. He had talked with a Toufoku accent. Peng thought once again to try her best to rase money for that area.（＾０＾）

東京偵察（２） Scouting in Tokyo(2)

先週　東京偵察に行ってきた。　今回は 大塚って～ところに　初めて　行ったのじゃ。 いつものように　peng御用達の　東急東横線に乗って　渋谷駅まで行き、　そこから　山手線に乗って　１８分で　大塚駅に着いた。 これが　大塚駅前じゃが、　平日なのに　結構　人がいて　大きなビルや商店街があるにぎやかなところだったので　ちょい　びっくりした。　やっぱ　東京じゃの～（－。－） 大きな較差点を　わたって　目的地の店がある商店街の通りに入った。　お店はバーのようなところと聞いていたので、腹ごしらえをしてから　店に行こうと　レストランを　探したのじゃ。　ここでも　pengは　びっくりじゃった。　どの店も　横浜のPeng邸近くの店より　チョーお高かったのじゃ。　「どっへ～　やっぱ　東京じゃの～（＠。＠）」と　田舎者モードのPengであった。 無事目的地の店について　一安心！　Pengは　ここに　酒を飲みに来たわけでは　ないぞ。　 二胡と三味線の演奏を聴きにきたのじゃ。　Pengは最初「二胡」という楽器が　どんなものか　わからんかった。　みんなも「胡弓（こきゅう）」という　中国伝来の弦楽器の　名前は　聞いたことがあるんじゃないかの～。　どうも　その楽器の　弦が２本のものを「二胡」というらしい。　まあ　写真をみれば　よくわかるじゃろで、　うだうだ言わんことにするぞ。 Pengは　二胡は　東洋の楽器じゃで　日本の弦楽器の三味線とあわせるのは　イメージできていたのじゃが、　ギターとの演奏もあるようで　最初　おやおや～って　思ったのじゃ。 しか～し、ギターとあわせた曲も、三味線とあわせた曲も　すばらしかったぞ～（＾０＾）　雨の夕暮れの帰り道であったが、弦楽器の魅了を堪能できたPengは　わくわく気分のまま　横浜に帰り着くことができたのじゃ。 わざわざ　東京まで行ったかいがあったと　大満足のPengであった～（＾０＾）

Last week, Peng went scouting again in Tokyo. This time Peng went to Ootsuka for the first time. As always, Peng took the Tokyu-Toyoko line to get Shibuya, then from Shibuya Peng used Yamanote line. It’s took 18minites to get from there to Ootsuka station. This picture is Ootsuka station. Peng surprised that even it was a weekday there were a lot of people, and there are big buildings and shopping mall. As could be expected, since it’s Tokyo!（－。－） I crossed a big intersection, and then arrived at a mall in where my destination shop was. My friend had told me that the shop is like a bar, and Peng thought maybe there wouldn’t be so many kinds of dinner food in the shop. So, Peng looked for a restaurant before going to the bar. Peng surprised again! Almost every restaurant on this street was much expensive than the restaurants in Peng’s town. Provincial Peng thought, “Well, sure; it’s Tokyo, isn’t it?”（＠。＠） Peng finally safely arrived at the bar – what a relief! Peng had not come there to drink. Peng came to see erhu and shamisen performance. At first, Peng didn’t know what an erhu is. Maybe you have heard of kokyu, which is Chinese traditional stringed music instrument played with a bow. Presumably, erhu (niko in Japanese) is a kind of kokyu which has two strings. Anyway, seeing it in the photo it is more easy to understand it than to read Peng’s explanation. At first Peng felt a little bit strange about the idea of hearing an erhu and guitar playing together, however, it was easy to imagine erhu and shamisen together, since both are oriental instrument. But the duet music of the erhu and guitar, and erhu and shamisen were great! Even though on the way home it was raining, Peng arrived home with a satisfied feeling. （＾０＾）
